Jo Sonja’ s Gesso is a flexible acrylic ground designed to prepare surfaces before painting with acrylic or oil colours. Using gesso helps prevent paint from losing moisture through absorption and it creates a slightly textured surface (« tooth» ) to promote better paint adhesion.
